Q: How long is the rental period? A: Full day rentals begin as early as 8 AM to 5 PM. Half day morning rentals begin anytime after 8 AM and end at 12 PM. Half day afternoon rentals begin anytime after 1 PM and end at 5 PM. Special accommodations may be made upon request.

Q: Do I need to tow the boat? A:  No, your boat will be delivered for you at Pleasant Harbor Marina. Delivery will take place in the parking area near the Fire Station.

Q: How many people can fit on a boat? A: The speedboat can hold up to 10 adults comfortably. The pontoon boats can hold up to 20 adults comfortably.

Q: Are there any additional fees? A: There are additional entrance fees to enter any lake that are separate from your rental. The fee to enter for the day is usually $6 per vehicle.

Q: Is there a security deposit for renting? A: Yes, there is a $500 REFUNDABLE security deposit for every rental contract. Upon return of the rental, the boat will be inspected for any damages. You will receive your deposit back in the form in which it was paid once the boat is returned in the condition in which is was rented.

Q: Am I responsible for damages? A: As with any rental you are responsible for an damage done to the boat. Cosmetic damage will be accessed and may result in loss of security deposit depending on damage inflicted. Any boat collision will be subject to additional charges depending on circumstances.

  1. Great question, Fal. There are no age restrictions for riding on the Polaris but by law anyone under the age of 18 MUST wear a helmet. We also highly recommend following the safety laws of car seat usage and use either a booster or car seat if your child meets the specified weight/age restrictions for the state. 5 years old and younger MUST be in a booster.


  2. How old must riders be on the Polaris? I understand driver must be 21 but how bout passengers?
